The lesson was on how to get more out of Studing the Scriptures.
"Think of a time in your life when the scriptures help you." Perhaps solve a problem, gave you comfort, just gave you enlightenment.
Memorizing a favorite scripture, so that you can recall it at any time or place. Apply the scriptures to your life.
Some things that help us get the most from the Study of the Scriptures. Faith, diligence, obedience.
