Need a hand skin softener. Rub vaseline throughly on the hands. Sprinkle a little sugar on the hands and rub vigorously. Rinse the sugar off. Wash the vaseline off with a grease cutting soap, like Dawn. Towel dry and add lotion. Your hands will be soft.
THE ANNUAL EAST VALLEY WARD MELODRAMA
The East Valley Ward has an annual melodrama production. This year's was "Orphans in Candyland"
There was the villianess, the hero, the heroine and other loveable characters.
The town of Candyland is in trouble! Samuel Pure, chocolate baron and benefator to the community, has passed on. His great mansion has been converted into a girl's orphange and is being run by his daughter, Priscilla. But his chocolate factory was will to Priscilla's evil sister, Serpentina, who is producing inferior candy and ruining the entire town! In her greed, she even schemes to take over the Pure mansion and throw the orphans (Emma Nems, Orietta Cookie, Baby Ruth and Chocolat Hart) into the cold.
A good time was had by those who were in attendence. Plan to join them next year for another great play.
