Stake Women's Conference

The Stake Women's Conference and Relief Society Birthday Observance was a day filled with great speakers and good sisterhood.

The Theme this year was "LIFT WHERE YOU STAND"

LIFT IN YOUR HOME Standards are helps in determing what is best for ourselves and family.

Choose what matters. Making the hard choices can make us believe we may perish, but we will usually grew stronger.


LIFT OURSELVES Lifting ourselves is choosing to be Happy. "Be of good cheer" is a commandment. Be aware of that Happiness is a choice we make. Happiness is a spiritual experience. NO THING can make us happy. Only we can make us happy. Happiness is an attitude. We choose to determine what makes us happy. Only you can choose to be mad. You are allowing something to bother you. Do we love ourselves?

LIFT YOUR NEIGHBORS. Women have the prime responsibilty of nuturing. Nuturing is lifting. Consider your gifts. Gifts of Spirit, of activily listening. How you can draw upon those gifts to do what must be done. Respond to the spirit and use those gifts to do what the Lord would have you do. Lift to elevate and strengthen. "Lose yourself in service to others" Pres. Hinkley. Lifting within our responsabilitys and the gifts that we have at the moment. Listen to the promptings of the spirit.
